Holiday Drink Recipes

Thanksgiving is a holiday for enjoying family, friends and delicious foods. Although, there’s no denying that festive drinks play a big role in the holiday too. These three Thanksgiving cocktail recipes are guaranteed to wow your friends and family with their delicious and festive flavors.
Frosty the Carmel Apple Pie
What you’ll need:
  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1 1/2 ounces apple cider
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce Hiram Walker Butterscotch Schnapps
  • Crushed graham crackers
  • Apple slice (for garnish)
Mixing instructions:
  1. Rim a chilled cocktail glass by using a dish filled with crushed graham crackers.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour the vodka, apple cider, lemon juice and schnapps into the shaker. Shake well.
  3. Strain the chilled Frosty the Carmel Apple Pie drink into a cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with the apple slice and enjoy.
Mulled Red Wine Sangria
What you’ll need:
  • 1 bottle Spanish red table wine
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 orange (thinly sliced)
  • 1 lemon (thinly sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
Mixing instructions:
  1. Stir the wine, brandy, orange juice and sugar together in a medium saucepan on low heat.
  2. Continue heating until the sugar has all dissolved.
  3. Stir in the orange and lemon slices, then let the entire combination simmer for five minutes.
  4. Serve and enjoy in mugs or heat-resistant glasses.
Hot Mulled Cider
What you’ll need:
  • 2 quarts apple cider
  • 2 whole allspice berries
  • 1 orange (thinly sliced)
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
Mixing instructions:
  1. Place all of the above ingredients in a large saucepan over simmering heat.
  2. Let the ingredients simmer for five minutes.
  3. Serve in mugs or heat-resistant glasses.
