Spring Break Camping

An unforgettable spring break doesn’t require costly plane tickets or hotel reservations. In fact, you can enjoy the ultimate spring break experience right here in the Lone Star State. The following three Texas vacation destinations offer exactly what you need to enjoy an affordable getaway in the comfort and convenience of your RV.
Galveston
Most Texans know that Galveston is a hot vacation destination. However, many don’t know that it’s one of Texas’ most historic cities. Travel just an hour south of Houston, and you can enjoy more than 32 miles of beach, stunning Victorian architecture, museums and of course, plenty of sun and sand. Galveston is the ideal getaway spot for travelers seeking uncrowded beaches that are located minutes from attractions, eateries and more.
South Padre Island
South Padre Island is on nearly every list of top Texas destinations. That’s because South Padre Island, located near the Mexico border, offers warm temperatures, towering palm trees and stunning Gulf Coast beaches.
Spend your days on the sand, engage in a number of water-based activities (like surfing, paddleboarding or renting a wave runner), play a round of golf or venture to the action-packed Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark. South Padre Island is overflowing with things to do for visitors of all ages.
Austin
Not every spring break getaway has to involve sand and the sea. The bustling capital city of Texas offers live music nearly every night of the week, world-renowned eateries, an abundance unique shops and must-visit festivals at all times of year. Culture is something there’s no shortage of in Austin, so fire up your RV and experience one of the most interesting cities in the U.S. this spring break.
Don’t forget to stop and see us at CCRV in Corpus Christi before you hit the road for your spring break excursion. Our parts department is stocked with all of the latest RVparts, accessories and camping supplies for another fun-filled season of travel.
